UPI transactions are the easiest and fastest transaction mode nowadays. After PM Modi’s announcement of demonetization, the entire world came into a pause. So when it comes to UPI payments, many names come to your mind, i.e. Google Pay, Paytm, Jio money, etc. Today in this article we will be discussing two apps i.e. Paytm and Jiomoney and will see which one is better.
Paytm vs Jio Money Compared after Using
Ease of set-up
Creating an account on the mobile wallet is not an easy task, it needs patience and accuracy. Both the apps i.e. Paytm and Jio Money ask for name, age, password also four-digit pin. Most wallets ask for a username, age, and a unique password. The pin can be used to open the app easily. Jio money asks pin every time you log out but Paytm allows users to sign up with user name and password and also it doesn’t sign out automatically after closing the app. So in case of easy access, Paytm has an edge as compared to Jiomoney.
User-friendly interface
Jio Money comes with a simple layout with all the basic elements i.e. visible to the users. Like, wallet balance, recharge options, sending/requesting money, paying at the shop, etc. Whereas Paytm also has almost the same features but lacks some of them. On the homepage, there is just an option to send /request/ Add money, nothing more than that. But Paytm has launched an individual app for booking tickets, shopping, and bill payments. So here Jio money performs better than Paytm.
Features
Both wallet covers almost all the fundamentals that one can expect including recharge, bill payment, etc. But Jio Money doesn’t offer any additional features like Paytm i.e. there are many options of shops in Paytm that provide shopping, booking tickets, and other services. But in the case of Jio money, it happens most of the time that the server couldn’t connect while recharging or they provide the wrong tariff
plans. But Jio money has wide wings in bill payments, gas bookings, etc. While Paytm allows booking gas from very few gas providers. Also, Jio money allows you to subscribe to different magazines which mostly cover current India digests. So as we can see both apps have many pros and cons.
Customer-friendly
Compared to user opinions, Paytm is much more customer friendly than Jio Money as the customer service is easily accessible and replies within a minute. Also, Paytm is much more well-known and trustworthy than Jio Money. You can get the apps via these given links:
Conclusion
In terms of all the consistencies in performance, reviews, and features, it can be said that Paytm is currently leading the market and has surpassed Jio Money in many aspects. But Jio money is also getting better day by day, like many of its features are awe-inspiring i.e. utility bills, focusing on extras and these kinds of features can drag the app much ahead in the future for sure.
